Dynamics power 2
Another word translated power apart from "esousia" is "dunamis"from the Greek translation. It means inherent ability to effect changes. Dunamis is the inherent power,residing in a thing by virtue of it's nature."But you shall receive power(ability) when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses......" Acts 1:8.
The word " dynamo" is gotten from "Dunamis" and it means the ability to transforn something into another form. For example, a generating set converts mechanical energy to electric energy.
We know that the HolySpirit is the power of the Godhead and whenever He comes, power is made manifest. He is the one that makes the new Creation a wonder because he has the ability to effect changes in any situation he encounters(Phillip 4:19). The new Creation should have this I can do mentallity because the HolySpirit dwells in him.Hallelujah!!!
All these we have talked about are wrapped up in the Word of God,but if you don't study or be taught, then how can you know the things that are freely given to you of God. Hosea4:6 " my people are destroyed for lack of revelation knowledge". This is why as a Christian, you should have a place of worship(Heb 10:25). Identify yourself with a living church and committed because God has you a Pastor (Jere 3:15) that will feed you with knowledge and understanding from the Word..........God bless you all......
