AUTHORITY IN CHRIST..........
In the new testament, the word power is translated in different forms. Matt 28:18 "And Jesus came and spake unto them saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth......" The Greek word for power here is "exousia" meaning judicial authority, a delegated authority. This is sovereignty over something.
Jesus is saying that all authority is given unto him both in heaven and on earth. The amplified version says ....all authority( all power of rule)in heaven and on earth has been given to me....." The new Creation in Christ has this authority because they are joint heirs with Christ(Rom 8:17a) and as Christ is, so are they(1John 4:17b). The new creation has all authority on earth because they have the legal right to use the name of Jesus which is the seal of this authority."Wherefore God also hath given him a name which is above every name.That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow............." Philip2:9-10
The name of Jesus represent His person,purpose, honour, Authority and all that He is. The new Creation has been placed far above every rule(Eph 1:19-23). This is the reason why you don't have to beg God to come and change your situation. God has placed you in charge. When U encounter situations that are not good, don't wait for anyone, demonstrate your God given authority using God's word.

MAKING DECISIONS AS A CHRISTIAN

How do I know when I am making the right decision? Prov 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your path” There are people who are of the opinion that when they feel good about a decision, it’s the right one. Feeling good about a decision has nothing to do with it being right or wrong. You can make a good decision and feel bad about it and you can make a bad decision and feel good about it. So it’s got nothing to do with how you feel. What you need is the knowledge of God’s Word and a good relationship with the Holy Spirit. When you give yourself to the Word of God and yield to the prompting of the Spirit of God, you’d always be guided in every situation to make decision that are consistent with God’s will and purpose for you. .....THINKING IS NOT WORRY...part 1. Most often people tend to misinterprete or confuse both as though they are the same but in reality they are not. .....THINK... To think means to ponder, to go over in one's head. It means to communicate to oneself in one's mind, to find solutions to problems. It means to conceive of something or someone. ....WORRY....... It means to disturb the peace of mind, afflict with mental agitation or distress. It means to be troubled, to give way to mental anxiety.
